About

Description

To assist the executive chef in the complete running of the kitchen, including administrative and operational activities within the Hospitality department. This is a 24-month fixed-term contract (internship) role focused on practical learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and produce food
  • Control stock
  • Provide administrative duties and assist in implementing ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) standards
  • Provide customer service
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: A National Diploma/National N Diploma in Catering Management, Hospitality and Catering Services, or a Hotel School Qualification at NQF Level 6 with 240 credits
  • Experience: No prior experience required
